The International Women’s Group- Kuwait, held a virtual meeting on 06 December 2020, for members to celebrate the Festive Season and the New Year. The meeting was hosted by Mrs. Layla Boulos, the Public Relations Coordinator.
The president of IWG, Mrs. Ambreen Mustafa, wife of the Pakistani Ambassador gave a warm welcome to the participants and wished everyone the very best for the coming year.
To the delight of all, nine previous IWG presidents had sent videotaped messages of well wishes from around the world. Members also enjoyed various entertainment and activities, including a musical segment with Christmas carols sung by Ms. Jessica Shidiac and a violin solo performed by Ms. Nancy Safadi; a cooking demonstration, presented by Chef Khodor Al Ashek of the Crowne Plaza Hotel; interactive quizzes and a raffle draw.
In closing, Mrs Mustafa, on behalf of the entire Board, expressed gratitude to all performers and participants and announced that certificates of appreciation and shields would be sent to all those who had contributed to making the event such an enjoyable and resounding success.
