The International Women’s Group (IWG) – Kuwait hosted a special event on 13 October that brought together women from across the community to celebrate their beauty, strength and resilience.
Under the inspiring theme “Celebrate Your Sparkle & Inner Beauty”, the day was designed to empower women to embrace both their outer and inner grace, creating an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, connection and self-appreciation.
In her opening remarks, IWG President Mrs. Polina Dalmini, wife of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Eswatini, warmly welcomed ambassadors, guests and friends. “Today we come together to celebrate the beauty, strength and resilience of women – a celebration not only of our outer beauty but also of our inner grace, courage and individuality,” said Mrs. Dalmini. Energized by Mrs. Dalmini’s uplifting speech, the attendees were then treated to a lively game of bingo, with each round focused on empowering phrases and quotes celebrating the strength, resilience and beauty of women. Participants laughed and shared moments of excitement as they marked their cards with affirmations such as “You are enough,” and “Strength is beauty”. The bingo game not only entertained but also inspired, creating a positive and empowering atmosphere among the participants.

A professional photo shoot further captured the radiant glow of every woman, adding a special touch to the day. The atmosphere throughout was filled with joy, camaraderie, and a shared celebration of femininity.
IWG Presidential Advisor, Mrs. Vera Al Mutawa, then took the stage to share her inspiring thoughts on the strength and resilience of women in all aspects of life, both at home and in the wider world. She emphasized that each attendee was, in her own way, the CEO of her life, skilfully managing the many responsibilities that come with family, personal, and professional roles. Her words resonated with the audience, reminding them of the power they possess in navigating their many commitments.
The morning continued with a joyful sing-along to the iconic anthem ‘I Will Survive’, bringing everyone together in a powerful moment of shared empowerment.
The sing-along was a final activity before the opening of a sumptuous buffet specially prepared by the chefs of the Crowne Plaza, featuring an array of delicious dishes and a beautifully arranged pink dessert table. Guests were treated to a feast in keeping with the celebratory spirit of the day.
