As spouse of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Eswatini, in southern Africa, it is my absolute honour and great pleasure to be part of the International Woman’s Group (IWG) Kuwait, and to be president of IWG for the 2024-2025 season.

Since arriving in Kuwait, nearly 3 years ago, I discovered the exciting nature of IWG and its members, composed of a diverse body of distinguished ladies that are the beating heart of the group. And just like it’s mission, these ladies represent a vast amalgamation of cultures, ages, ethnic backgrounds and traditions.

In the course of meeting monthly, members discover new themes that represent the exciting world we live in and get the opportunity to celebrate unity through the very things that differentiate us. Most of all, I bear personal witness to the strength of friendships formed as a by-product of these meetings. If IWG was a single country, our greatest export would be the strong meaningful friendships that are shared amongst participants – absent of bias, judgement and discrimination.

You may find, as I have, the dedication of the board and their mission of introducing an exciting and diverse assortment of events which represents different pockets and corners of the world. These include informative and educational excursions alongside other themed events; all of which we are confident will continue to be the high standard and exciting events that we all have come to love and enjoy.

It is my opinion that IWG’s biggest success is that of our fantastic members, honorary and active alike, and the fantastic contributions that every single member seems to make. Only with such fantastic members have we been able to grow (and continue growing). Let us also not forget the unfaltering and meticulous dedication from our board members, who I know their tireless endeavours are noticed and greatly appreciated by all.

I look forward to another exciting season of events that bring us together.

Warmest wishes
