The President of the International Women’s Group, Mrs. Ghada Shawky, wife of the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, accompanied by the Vice President, Mrs. Rima Al-Khalidi, wife of the Ambassador of the State of Palestine, offered condolences on behalf of the Executive Board and members of the International Women’s Group at the residence of the British Ambassador to the State of Kuwait on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
They were received by Ambassador Belinda Lewis, where the President recorded a speech in the condolence book on behalf of the International Women’s Group in Kuwait, in which she expressed the group’s board and members’ sincere condolences to the royal family and the British people on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Mrs. Shawky and Al-Khalidi also offered their condolences to Ambassador Belinda Lewis, who thanked them for their condolences.
